Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton

I was born in 1950. I was raised in Wavertree, next door to Edge Hill and Toxteth Cemetary. I was blessed to worship and learn at St. Hugh's Primary School and St. Edward's College. Those days, it was possible to go to university to study. I went to Liverpool, where I met my wife, Reading and University College London. Together, we studied and then lived in Ireland for many years, especially when the Tories were in charge. Our children were born in Dublin. We are all Irish and me, Scouse too! God bless, Peter
